The Tarabini’s - Sophisticated  "Classic (Lounge) Jazz" – is a tight acoustical sound that blends Accordion, Vibes and Bass into a classic jazz style, most reminiscent of the great groups from the past: i.e. George Shearing, Art Van Damme, Ernie Felice. Nat King Cole Trio, etc. They offer up a sophisticated classic jazz sound playing with fire, zest, and enthusiasm, sprinkled with Vocal styling of Romantic Ballads, Sassy Blues, and Contemporary Swing, which makes for easy and enjoyable listening, while enjoying that special evening or that grand event.

The group features, Vibraphonist, Yancie “The Jazz Doctor” Taylor, a jazz aficionado, a World Wide Jazz Concert performer, and a regular at San Francisco’s many Jazz Clubs; Bassist and recording artist, Terry Hilliard (a Verve Records “Hall of Famer”), formerly with the Mills Bros., Johnny Mathis and the Cal Tjader Latin Jazz Group, and a Charter member of San Francisco’s “Legends of Jazz”; Gloria (Lester) Tarabini, a former San Francisco radio / TV personality, star of the KPIX TV show, “Search for Songs” and NBC Channel 4, “Your Show”, and a Night Club and Hotel performer; Accordionist / Arranger, Al Tarabini, a popular San Francisco Bay Area Night Club / Hotel performer, formerly toured with Charles Stuart, the New York Broadway Star of “Oklahoma”, and Hollywood Shakespearean Actor, Bruce Carradine, and is a former San Francisco KFRC radio and KGO TV performer.

The Tarabini’s travel throughout the West Coast, performing their sophisticated style of Classic (Lounge) Jazz in Restaurants, Night Clubs, Hotels, Special Events, and, have just released their 7th CD, entitled “Holloway" (recorded and mastered at San Francisco State University).
